On-line advertising

I am starting to experiment with advertising on LinkedIn and Google AdWords.

These technologies really do change the rules for advertising - with a newspaper for instance an advertiser rents space.  Using web sites it is  possible to target your adverts to particular groups and geographies.  So instead of advertising in the business section of the paper and hoping that the right people will look, it is possible to push an ad in front of the right people - sort of.

Anyway should be interesting see how it goes.
